I work in infrastructure operations across eight data centre sites in the US and Japan, provisioning VMs, qualifying releases and handling incidents as part of a five-engineer rotation. Next, I want to take that production experience into platform engineering and SRE.

Why this site is built like this

In September 2026 the previous version of bvrinfra.in disappeared with the machine it ran on. The backups lived on that same machine, and the restore steps had never been written down.

This version is the fix. Everything is in one repository, every change goes through a pull request, and the rack above only lights a unit once it is actually running. The decisions are written up in ADR 0001.
